How to make your voice sound like a chipmunk?

I need to make our voices sound like chipmunks for a school project, i know one way how to on audacity, but i need to make the movie at least 3 mins. i need to make it so the voices match the lips and i dont want to speed the video up.


DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW?

hmm, it's something with the way you close up or tighten up the back or top of your throat, above where an adams apple would be, sorta right after your tonsils %26amp; arching %26amp; pushing your tongue back up there... it's hard to explain but my son does a squeaky voice by tweaky up his throat %26amp; arching his tongue back there %26amp; it's hilarious! =) ... but then it gets seriously annoying if it goes on too long! =D

You could inhale helium. The synching would always be correct, but you'd probably have to inhale it every minute or so. Don't use it too much, as you might pass out or hyperventilate. Good luck.
