The chipmunk probably aspirated, but you need to seek help from an animal rescue association in your area or speak with a vet to be sure.

Keep the chipmunk warm and dry and be sure you are not over or under feeding the baby. We really need more information from you to be sure how to help you.

What are you feeding it? How often, with what device, and are you being sure to have the baby eliminate before and after feedings? To have the baby eliminate take a cotton swab with some warm water and rub the baby's genitals gently until it eliminates urine and any waste. The mother would normally do this herself to care for her babies (rodents, dogs, cats, etc.).
sounds cute, but why do u have a baby chipmunk. u should definatly take it to the vet, and when its better call it Alvin
