Where could a person acquire a chipmunk as a pet?

Besides putting a trap out in the yard.........Where could a person acquire a chipmunk as a pet?
You need to find, first of all, if it is legal to have a chipmunk where you live.





If it is legal, you MUST find a breeder or a pet store to purchase your chipmunk. It is illegal to capture wild animals and keep them as pets.





Inquire at your local veterinary office - if they treat any chipmunks, perhaps they know where to acquire one.Where could a person acquire a chipmunk as a pet?
I think that would be the only way. They arent domesticated or sold in pet stores. By the way i know chipmunks are cute, but i dont think they would make good pets. They are quite aggressive little bugers when confined. They have sharp teeth and chew on things constantly.
from a breeder or some pet shops sell them i have 3 as pets and bought them from a breeder have you tried googling the question for your area|


i must be on the usa site im in the uk and they dont bite and mine are tame
Chipmunks are wild animals. They are not domesticated in the US but I have heard of people in the UK having them as pets.
Get a pet cat to go out into the woods to get you one! It may need some patching up before he's ready to be your housepet, though!
These little guys were meant to stay outside, so please leave them where they are suppose to be !!

money
