How do i care for a baby chipmunk?

We have found a baby chipmunk that we want to keep. I have no idea what they eat and what kind of habitat it will need. Can anyone help? How do i care for a baby chipmunk?
Be honest with yourself. Are you doing this because you want to have a cool pet? You should not keep this animal. First, it's illegal, second, it's unfair to take a creature from the wild. You need to contact your state fish and game agency. They will get the baby to an experienced, trained wildlife rehabilitator who will know how to take care of the chipmunk and raise it in such a way that it can be returned to the wild.

If you try to raise this animal yourself, it is likely that it will die. You probably don't have access to the kinds of food you need to keep it alive. How do i care for a baby chipmunk?
I think its wonderful for you to help the baby chipmunk. I myself have raised a couple of baby squirrels I found orphaned and here is the site to go to for help because Clarissa is the foremost authority of this topic

Enjoy your new baby!
I second melissah's comment. Chipmunks do not make good pets, and can turn incrediably nasty and destructive, especially when they are not raised around their own kind.
chipmunks love acorns. keep it in an safe cage. not too big or not too small and line it with little stuff( forgot the name of it).
UMM ITS NOT LEGAL TO HAVE THAT AS A PET UNLESS YOU BOUGHT IT FROM THE SHELTER OR SOMETHING BUT I WOULD PUT IT WITH SOME OTHER CHIPMUNKS SO IT KAN BE WHERE IT BELONGS
how did you get it and from where?
